How airport trips are booked here
New York is served by three large commercial airports and one busy private-aviation field, and each asks something different of a car service. JFK is long-haul and international, with numbered terminals under reconstruction. LaGuardia is close and mostly domestic, split into Terminals A, B and C. Newark Liberty is across the Hudson, so every trip crosses a tunnel or a bridge. Teterboro has no airline terminals at all; the car meets the passenger at the operator handling the jet.
What stays the same is the method. You reserve a class, the class sets an hourly rate, and the reservation runs for at least three hours. Sedan $120 per hour all-in, SUV $150 all-in, S-Class from $175, Sprinter from $200. Sedan and SUV hourly rates include gratuity and fees. For S-Class and Sprinter starting rates, the booking form confirms the final price. Review the quoted fees and gratuity before the trip. List every stop when booking. There is no flat airport fare menu on this site, and no promised drive time.
The airline and flight number are the two most useful things on an airport reservation. They tell dispatch which terminal to stage at and let the pickup follow the real landing time instead of the scheduled one. Add the terminal letter or number, or the FBO for Teterboro, and the traveler's working mobile number.
Pickup, bags and the right class
At the commercial airports the pickup follows the marked ground-transportation areas for the terminal on the reservation. If the passenger should be met inside, ask for meet-and-greet at booking and it becomes part of the reservation. Anyone approaching travelers inside a terminal to offer a ride is not this service; the confirmation says who is collecting the passenger.
Airport trips carry more luggage than city trips, so choose the class by bags as well as people. A sedan suits one to three travelers with light luggage. An SUV takes up to six passengers or heavier bags. The S-Class is the executive sedan. A Sprinter moves a group and its luggage together. See all four on the fleet page and the arithmetic for longer windows on the rates page.
When the airport leg is one part of a longer day, such as a landing followed by meetings or a hotel check-in followed by dinner, book hourly charter so one car stays with the traveler. Company travel belongs on corporate transportation, and group arrivals for weddings or galas on special events. The general service overview is airport transportation.
Frequently asked questions
Which airports does Car Service Manhattan serve?
John F. Kennedy International (JFK), LaGuardia (LGA), Newark Liberty International (EWR) and Teterboro (TEB). Each has its own page with routes, pickup notes and class advice.
Are airport rates different from city rates?
No. The same hourly floors apply everywhere: $120 sedan all-in, $150 SUV all-in, S-Class from $175 and Sprinter from $200, each with a 3-hour minimum. Sedan and SUV rates include gratuity and fees. For S-Class and Sprinter starting rates, the booking form confirms the final price.
What must an airport reservation include?
The airport, airline, flight number, terminal or FBO, passenger count, bags and the Manhattan door. Dispatch plans around the actual flight using the number on the reservation.
Can the driver meet the passenger inside?
Ask for meet-and-greet when you book and it will be written into the reservation. Otherwise the pickup follows the airport's marked ground-transportation areas.
Can I book an airport run and a day of meetings together?
Yes. Book hourly charter and the same car and chauffeur stay with the traveler from the terminal through the rest of the day on one quote.
